Compost production
The process begins with the production of the substrate. We combine horse manure, chicken manure, straw, lime and water to obtain a mixture that is fermented in tunnels. The mixture is then transferred to another tunnel, in which it is pasteurised to kill all elements that are harmful for mushrooms. After cooling, the nutrients that are essential for the mushrooms’ growth are formed in the substrate.
In the next phase the spawn is added to the substrate.
The spawn consists of sterilised grains that are coated with the mushroom mycelium. The mycelium grows through the entire substrate. When this growth process is completed the substrate is transported from the production area to the mushroom farm.
