Quality-Controlled Food Chain
Food safety and high quality are as important to us as the delicious flavour of our preserved mushrooms. We can rely on more than fifty years of expertise and experience to guarantee those aspects. In cooperation with various research institutes and universities, including the Wageningen University & Research Centre (WUR), our own R&D department is constantly working on innovations in flavour improvement and production processes.
Prochamp’s products meet all the relevant international standards and legislation. Our factory is BRC- and IFS-certified. And all our cultivation units are GlobalGAP-certified. This way food safety, quality and transparency are secured throughout the chain.
On top of that we also produce under FDA registration (Food and Drug Administration) and comply with the regulations of the Orthodox Union.
Food safety is of course integrated in the everyday production processes in our preservation factory. 100% Track & Trace guarantees consumers optimum product safety.
Quality control is an integral part of our production line. We have smart equipment to ensure that our end products contain exactly the right quantities and that our canned mushrooms are free of any foreign components. Our high-tech machines of course meet the most stringent hygiene and quality requirements.
